Overview

Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN) is now accepting applications for the permanent full-time Senior Dietitian Food Services position (Allied Health Professional Level 3).  This is a new position for the Limestone Coast, and we are excited by the opportunity to establish this essential service in our growing allied health team.  The position may be based in the growing and vibrant city of Mount Gambier or in one of our beautiful regional sites: Bordertown, Keith, Kingston SE, Penola, Millicent, or Naracoorte.

As an experienced and highly competent Senior Dietitian Food Services, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of Food Services for residents of LCLHN Aged Care facilities and provide advice and guidance relevant to the National Safety & Quality Health Standards for regional LCLHN acute care sites.  To achieve this, you will work in conjunction with LCLHN Dietitians and other health professionals, (including Speech Pathologists, Catering and Nursing staff), and optimise resident and inpatient health and quality of life outcomes in this specialty area. As a highly skilled and competent clinician, you will deliver quality services and provide clinical leadership within Residential Aged Care facilities and regional LCLHN acute care sites.

You must hold a recognised qualification within the Dietetics profession and be eligible for practicing membership with Dietitians Australia.  You will be supported by a highly supportive Regional Manager of Allied Health and Advanced Clinical Lead Dietitian, within a dynamic and growing Dietetics team.  Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will equip you to work positively within a team and develop effective working relationships.
