Working for local government in Western Sydney. Our client is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team.
This position would be perfect for someone with around 4 years' experience who is looking to develop their career further.

- Western Sydney Location
- $97,600 - 105,700 + superannuation (3.5% salary increase from 1 July onwards)
- 1-2 day WFH
- 35 hour working week
Key responsibilities - Provide web technical support to stakeholders across the organisation including training in website CMS, setting up template structures and best practice guides.
- Implement website enhancements to improve customer experience
- Implement and maintain paid search and digital ads
- Prepare Google analytics and social media reports to analyse campaign performance and evaluate Digital Marketing activities.
- Write digital content for a range of digital platforms to comply with the brand tone of voice and corporate style.
- Research and provide feedback on new digital platforms and integration into existing Council platforms including website.
- Work with the Creative Marketing Specialist and broader team to deliver Digital Marketing campaigns and concepts to promote a range of activities, services and projects.
- Work with Creative Marketing Specialist and Marketing and Creative Services Coordinator on strategies to improve customer experience across website, social media and search engine marketing.
- Implement the development and ongoing management of a digital asset library including images and video marketing assets.
- Create digital content for a range of audiences and channels including social media and eDM's.Seek opportunities to promote Council activities and do things differently.
- Adhere to requirements contained in relevant legislation, standards, codes of practice when undertaking tasks/activities and to advise their Supervisor/Coordinator if they become aware of any changes to these.
What you'll need to succeed
- Tertiary qualifications in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Website Management, Digital Media or associated fields
- Experience in developing content and campaigns for online and social media channels including Meta ads.
- Proven ability to develop and implement Digital Marketing strategies and campaigns across a range of platforms.
- Experience with website content management systems and working with website developers.
- Experience across website usability and accessibility requirements and protocols
- Experience with paid search and optimisation as well as native marketing ads.
- Proficient in SEO data tools
- Experience with Google analytics reporting, setting up custom reports and interpreting data.
- Experience managing Google pins.
