As we grow, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiasticSenior Educational Leader (Program Manager) to join our close-knit and supportive team in Ropes Crossing, NSW.
You are expected to be an active Leader and provide leadership and direction for all Educators in your allocated section. You will role model excellent leadership to bring out the best in your team members, build their capability and support them in making the Centre a safe and engaging place for children, families, and the team.
This includes:
- Ensure that a developmental and educational appropriate program is planned and implemented for each child, which takes into consideration the school curriculum.
- Lead and mentor the team alongside the Centre Director and facilitate staff meetings, Programs Training, etc.
- Providing leadership while working as a member of a cooperative team to provide an appropriate educational program and ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Lead, guide and support continuous improvement
- Developing strong relationships with children at the service
- Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families
- Implementing the policies and associated procedures of the organization.
What we are looking for
- A completed Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)
- Current/Valid Working With Children's Check (WWC) and First Aid Certificates
- Previous working experience in Early Childhood Education
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- The desire to make a positive contribution to a professional, collaborative and focused team
- A love for children and a desire to make childcare a long-term career
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care
