The Opportunity
We are currently searching for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our Client’s Project Team to help deliver the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) package for the upgrade of a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth community. The role will be initially based in the Perth Head Office and will transition to site (Perth southern suburbs) in early 2024 as construction activities commence.
We are currently searching for a Senior Project Engineer with an electrical and instrumentation background to deliver engineering design and construction services for the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical experts to make sure designs meet specifications and maintain technical excellence.
- Organize and keep track of electrical design information, including documents and data from suppliers.
- Help improve systems within the division.
- Build positive customer relationships to achieve successful program outcomes.
- Oversee and coordinate the design and construction efforts of team members for project success.
- Support projects with construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning assistance as needed.
- Inform the team about work scope, contracts, design organization, project schedule, and change control.
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or similar qualification.
- Membership of relevant Engineering Institutions (e.g. Engineers Australia).
- Good knowledge of local and international Codes and Standards.
- Be a proactive member of the team, prepared to work outside conventional boundaries in cooperation with other team members to ensure complete coverage of each work scope.
- Previous experience in Water and Wastewater projects will be highly regarded.
