About the Role
You will be working alongside a multi-disciplined engineering and design team, you will be responsible for the Electrical Engineering & design of minerals and metals process plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical and instrumentation designs and perform calculations in strict adherence to client specifications and Australian Standards.
- Undertake LV and MV design, including MCCs and switchrooms.
- Execute instrumentation and control design tasks with precision.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance to the drafting team, overseeing the creation of both preliminary and detailed designs.
- Efficiently manage scope, budget, and schedule aspects of projects.
- Offer technical support during construction and commissioning activities.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with the multidisciplinary team, clients, and contractors.
- Possess a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in mineral processing within a design and construct environment.
- Proficiency in power systems and LV design.
- Familiarity with pertinent Australian and industry codes and standards.
- Advantageous to have functional safety and hazardous area experience in a mining environment.
- Knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, and communications is advantageous.
- Experience with base metals, battery minerals, and rare earth minerals is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Right to work in Australia.
