About Us:

About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
* Provide sound advice and services to managers and clients on employee and industrial relations matters including interpretation of legislation, industrial instruments, policies, systems and practices.
* Contribute to the ongoing coordination and promotion of high quality employee and industrial relations services and solutions in a large and complex organisation.
* Undertake research and analysis of employee and industrial relations matters.
* Participate in consultation and negotiations with key stakeholders, departmental work units, professional associations and other public sector agencies.
* Advocate the department's position in tribunals including the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission in conferences and hearings.
* Develop, implement and evaluate departmental policy and procedures related to employee and industrial relations matters.Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.
