Brunel Australasia is partnering with a leading engineering, procurement and construction company to find a Senior Estimator to lead in the pricing development for Transmission Lines and Substation project.
The Senior Estimator role is pivotal in generating and presenting project estimates, from initial take-offs to final cost assessments for all project inputs.
Reporting directly to the Bid Manager, the Estimator routinely engages with Business Development, Engineering, and Operations disciplines.
- You must be a transmission line and/or substation estimation specialist.
- Previous experience budgeting of renewable energy EPC projects(Including Indicative Price)
- Ability to thoroughly analyse project requisites and specifications to devise cost estimates encompassing materials, labour, and equipment.
- Knowledge of renewable energy project development procedure.
- Experience in overseeing strategy and delivering safe, quality, innovative, cost effective and compliant pricing of projects.
- Advanced strategies relating to procurement, planning, risk control, project management, stakeholder management.
- Facilitate negotiations with multiple vendors and subcontractors to ensure both competitive pricing and quality.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience as an Estimating Manager across the Transmission Line and Substation sector in Australia
- Knowledge of Transmission Line and Substations -EPC projects and the unique challenges and opportunities they present.
- Knowledge of Australian Environmental legislation
- Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards
- Proven ability in planning, multi-tasking and delivering quality outcomes to deadline within a high-pressure environment
