About the Role

Play an integral role in the planning, coordination and delivery of events, communications and marketing activities for this leading mental health organisation. Reporting directly to the Manager Communications and Events , you will work collaboratively with a creative team of communications and events professionals to help deliver the prestigious Recovered Futures Art Exhibition, as well as other events activities throughout the year. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement and review of annual events schedule, playing a key role in the delivery of the Recovered Futures Art Exhibition 
  • Liaising and building relationships with external suppliers, stakeholders, and staff to support the delivery of events
  • Assist with the preparation and monitoring of event budgets
  • Provide direction, leadership, and training to people engaged to work, contract, or volunteer during organisational functions or special events
  • Provide practical support and advice relating to community and industry events
  • Work closely with the Manager Communications and Events and key stakeholders to develop and deliver other one-off events throughout the year
Skills & Experience required
  • Demonstrated experience in the planning and delivery of large scale events and/or project coordination
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Strong problem solving skills, a flexible attitude towards changing priorities and the ability to think on your feet
  • A positive outlook and willingness to help others, someone who is a collaborative team player
