About the role
The Campaigns and Events team delivers National and State Peer to Peer Campaigns, Third Party Beneficiaries, Fundraising events, Community Fundraising, and Community Engagement across Queensland.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery of CCQ campaigns, like Relay for Life and Daffodil Day, to support the Campaign and Events team.
This role is a Permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
About you
To be successful in this role you will have experience in events management and fundraising and enjoy working in a fast paced, fluid environment, spearheading the planning and delivery of our fundraising campaigns to achieve our revenue & engagement targets.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Essential Skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, event management, communications or project management.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in fundraising (desirable).
- Highly developed time management skills and can manage multiple tasks and prioritise with maximum impact.
- Demonstrated experience with logistical Events and/or competing priorities
- Ability to motivate and encourage teams, supporters and, volunteers adopting a highly agile, problem-solving attitude
- Exceptional relationship manager with the ability to easily build relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated Event Management and Project Management experience
- Understanding of the charitable sector is advantageous
- Current Queensland drivers’ license
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment is essential
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office 365, Customer Relationship Management systems, project management systems, P&L trackers, and data analysis systems (such as PowerBI).
