Senior Exploration Geologist

Our client, a Perth-based ASX-listed strategic minerals junior explorer is currently searching for a Senior Exploration Geologist. The company is advancing a high-quality portfolio of battery-metal centric projects, and hence, is seeking an experienced discovery leader to drive geological and discovery efforts in Western Australia.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in designing, planning, and executing geological exploration programs, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards;
• Identify and assess high-potential exploration targets by conducting comprehensive geological assessments and mapping;
• Analyse geological data, core samples, and assay results to inform drilling programs and exploration strategies;
• Supervise and mentor junior geologists and exploration teams, ensuring efficient and safe operations;
• Utilise geological software and data analysis tools to interpret and model geological data;
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on exploration findings and present to senior management and stakeholders;
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Requirements:

• Tertiary Degree qualification in Geoscience discipline;
• Notable experience in a discovery leadership position at project or senior level;
• Proficiency in geological software and data analysis tools;
• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and environmental standards;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
