The Opportunity:
As a critical member of the Property and Infrastructure Management team, you will be tasked with elevating the levels and standards of reactive, preventative, and leasing activity across the property portfolio in this newly created appointment. On joining, one of your first commitments will be to transition a new outsourced facilities management contract and ensure that all legislative compliance, SLAs, and reporting processes are followed.
You will also appreciate where optimal operation and function should occur across the portfolio and ensure that maintenance and repair costs are minimised. Managing and coordinating special minor capital work projects is an exciting career opportunity. You will report to the Director of Property and Infrastructure.
Your Key Responsibilities will Encapsulate:
- Provide leadership about service delivery, innovation and planning to meet organisational goals, improve performance and promote a high-functioning, collaborative culture.
- Manage all stakeholder relationships impacted by maintenance activities, including tenants, third parties, stakeholders and residents.
- Improve asset productivity, achieve best-practice maintenance management, and proactively provide input into current maintenance activities.
- Manage, in conjunction with the outsourced FM provider, all routine and emergency repairs and reactive maintenance tasks.
- In conjunction with the Director, review the costs, revenue, and cash flow for leasing activities against the agreed budget and work with the outsourced service provider to correct any deviations from the budget.
- Manage and administer the risk management process related to facilities management and monitor and report on any critical assets at high risk of failure.
- Prepare all relevant information on planned and reactive maintenance spending to facilitate the preparation of the annual financial budgets and reporting.
- WHS - Ensure compliance with all relevant occupational, health and safety legislation, building codes, building commission and other statutory authority requirements.
