Initially part time hours with view of full time hours for the right candidate.This role performs tasks as directed by the Dairy Manager and Leading Hand at the Corstorphine Dairy. As such, we see the importance in recruiting talent aligned to these values in the pursuit of research excellence.Your key responsibilitiesTractor, implement, and machinery operation for silage and fodder production and improvement.Maintenance of farm equipment including basic repairs to farm machineryHands on knowledge of rural fencingCommitted to maintaining a clean and safe workspace for staff, students, visitors and animalsDriving / Transport of animals / produce / feedhazard identification and reportingOther duties consistent with the classification as required by the supervisorAbout youAbility and experience in maintaining farm equipment including basic mechanical repairs.Livestock experience.
