An opportunity now exists for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join the company on a full time, permanent basis.
About the Role
Reporting through to the Finance Director ANZ, you’ll be responsible for partnering with key managers and leaders across the business to provide extensive analysis and insights across the manufacturing and supply chain function. Duties will include:
- Continuously analyse, examine and interpret operational and supply chain information
- Drive and own the monthly supply chain and manufacturing forecasting and annual budgeting process
- Drive and own the monthly operations and supply chain month end reviews and conduct relevant analysis including, costs vs benefits, variances and write-offs
- Providing expertise and insights to management around driving cost reduction and efficiency improvement
- Conduct and contribute to meetings with relevant stakeholders to provide commercial oversight, reports, insight and analysis across the function
- Maintain Obela’s Standard (Absorption) Costing System which incorporates material, labour, factory overhead inputs as well as the Structured Bill of Materials for all manufactured items
- Identify and participate in continuous improvement projects, cost saving initiatives and activities to ensure that the function is well maintained and fit for purpose
- Own the capital expenditure reporting and analysis program, providing insights and consideration of paybacks presented
- Responsibility for the quality and delivery of the data, information and analysis
- Any other duties relating to the finance function as required by the business
This position would suit someone with demonstrated experience working within the FMCG or manufacturing sector. You’ll be capable of managing the cost accounting function and partnering with key stakeholders to deliver key information and provide recommendations. In addition to this, you will be:
- Degree qualified in accounting, finance or a relevant area + full CA/CPA or equivalent
- Resilient and comfortable dealing with change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to pro-actively partner and negotiate with leaders across the finance and supply chain function
- Capable of balancing competing priorities and delivering information in a timely manner
