Senior Finance Advisor - Shared Services | 6 Month Contract | Up to $499.50 p/d incl. super

• $350 - $450 p/d + super
• 6 month contract (Potential to Extend)
• Sydney CBD/WFH
  

About the Role
Senior Finance Advisor - Shared Services is crucial in delivering high-quality financial administration, contract management, and purchasing services. This role ensures the efficient delivery of business operations and exceptional service within our shared service model. Reporting to the Associate Director - Financial Control, you will play a key role in enhancing financial shared services model, promoting an integrated, reliable, efficient, and customer-focused service that meets stakeholder needs.
Key Responsibilities

• Performance Management: Utilise systems and dashboards to monitor the performance of our shared service provider, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.
• Trend Analysis: Develop and implement trend analysis and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement in service provision, reliability, and quality.
• Root Cause Analysis: Identify evidence-based root causes of under-performance, including system failures, and support the development of solution strategies.
• Financial Administration: Manage all finance aspects of the procurement to pay process, including monitoring, reporting, and transactional processing.
• Accounts Receivable: Oversee all finance aspects of accounts receivable, including monitoring, reporting, customer invoices, debtor management, and shared service contract administration.
  

Key Challenges:

• Workload Management: Efficiently manage urgent and competing business requests and deadlines.
• Performance Transparency: Drive transparency, performance improvements, better customer outcomes, and value for money across our finance shared service arrangements.
  

About You

• Degree qualification in Commerce, Business or similar field and/or extensive relevant experience
• Previous NSW Government highly regarded
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role
• Experience with managing shared service arrangements
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact with stakeholders
• Highly developed Microsoft Excel skills
