Reporting to the Head of Finance - CUB Beer, this role will be accountable for providing commercial support and insights to your aligned Customer / Channel to help drive performance. You will partner closely with senior leaders to deliver a strong commercial, strategic, and financial performance agenda whilst contributing to the broader Commercial Decision Team.
Key responsibilities
- Drive active partnership across all elements of the IBP process to ensure a collaborative approach to commercial decisions
- Ownership of business performance within the Business Unit, leading planning and performance processes, budget & forecasting and identification of gaps with recommendations
- Ensure effective Management reporting to deliver clarity of Business Unit performance and forward planning that enables delivery of future strategic, financial, and executional objectives
- Provide commercial decision support, generating financial insights and identifying key business issues whilst facilitating analysis and recommendations for mitigation
- Key customer facing contributor to commercial negotiations and Joint Business Planning
- Support the budget process and partner with Sales to review and influence pricing requests
- Partner with aligned Revenue Manager, critically evaluating the current plan and making recommendations for delivery against strategy whilst considering revenue, investment choices and estimates about S&OP impacts
Your resume will clearly demonstrate significant experience in a Finance / Commercial role ideally within consumer products and knowledge of revenue management and pricing processes and methodology. Collaborative in approach, your functional expertise is ably supported by your exceptional communication skills and an ability to provide accurate, professional, and credible advice to a wide variety of stakeholders.
In addition, you will possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Economics / Business) ideally with CA, CPA, MBA
- Strong and demonstrable influencing skills at senior organizational levels
- A highly developed understanding and the application of a broad range of commercial levers that have delivered successful outcomes whilst maintaining an appropriate governance framework
- Ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team whilst facilitating activity across functions
- Proven ability to operationalize strategy for commercial advantage
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a multitask environment
