Quinn Allan are exclusively partnering with an ASX top 100 organisation in the search of a Senior Finance Manager (Financial Control). They have grown substantially in the past 10 years with operations now across the world.
About the Position
The purpose of the Senior Finance Manager role is to step in to lead the accounting team while the incumbent is taking 12 months of parental leave. Reporting into the Director of Finance and Reporting, this role is a key leader within the Finance and Reporting team with oversight of the finance, accounting, and reporting activities for the business. The role is responsible for the consolidation of financial accounts and, works to embed and optimise accounting practices and standards in a complex operating environment. The role is also responsible for leading and developing a high performing accounting team who work in partnership with key stakeholders across the business.
- Develop and lead a strong Accounting team of 6 people.
- Manage the financial accounts for a complex group structure including consolidation accounting, equity accounting, calculation of minority balances and separate financial reports.
- Lead the preparation of key compliance requirements such as Financial Reporting and ASX Reporting requirements.
- Provide advice on the technical accounting impact at consolidated and subsidiary level of changes to the business and regulatory environment.
- Lead the development and design of accounting and processes for the impact of any changes to the business and growth / expansion opportunities including M&A, disposals and restructuring.
- Oversee the provision to the business with timely and accurate advice around the performance against budget.
About You
We are looking for someone that is available immediately or with a 1-2 week notice period. The successful candidate will be a proven people leader and experience working in a large, complex organisation, ideally an ASX listed business.
