Senior Finance Manager - Finance Data

We have an opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to join our team based in Stockland’s Sydney head office.

The Opportunity - About the Role

Reporting to the GM of Group Control & Reporting you will Manage Finance systems and lead data and reporting governance activities, including identification and implementation of systems enhancements, development and execution of reporting strategies, set up and maintenance of master data management and data quality policies and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, build, and maintain sustainable partnerships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to implement the organisation’s data quality strategy.
• Support the setting and execution of the data, reporting and analytics strategy in alignment with the enterprise-wide strategy & roadmaps.
• Set the governance frameworks and policies to ensure that Finance data and reporting activities are consistent with enterprise wide data framework, industry standards and best practices.
• Lead the development of Finance’s data quality management approach to maintain and increase the quality of data.
• Lead a high performing team of engage finance systems specialists to deliver on the business priorities.
• Lead the measurement and governance of data usage, completeness and quality.
• Lead the identification of opportunities and implementation of solutions to leverage the capability provided by Finance systems to improve access to data, reporting and analytics leading to generation of business insights in the context of an organisation undergoing significant strategic growth.
• Responsible for providing frameworks, structure and templates for greater consistency in the definition and use of value drivers.
• Work in collaboration with IT to understand and manage business requirements and readiness associated with release of new technologies or process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvements across finance systems, data and reporting and contribute to wider Finance continuous improvement and transformation activities.
• Responsible for collating and communicating benefits from the continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You’re a collaborative and engaging Senior Finance Manager who forms trusted relationships with your stakeholders. You will have significant experience in a complex business structure ideally within an organisation that operates multiple entities. An experienced people leader you will be strategic and adaptable to change.

To be successful in this role you will also have the following experience, skills and qualifications:

• Extensive experience in control, reporting and data management roles
• Experience in managing a team
• Experience in compliance or process improvement related role
• Experience in complex process related issue resolution
• CA / CPA or equivalent accreditation is desirable
