With approximately $15 billion in local funds under management in behalf of institutional investors, our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager to join the team and drive the financial success of their Real Estate funds.
Position Overview:
As the Senior Finance Manager - Real Estate Funds, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning for our Real Estate funds portfolio. This is a senior-level position that requires a deep understanding of the Real Estate market, fund management, and financial & trust accounting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale Real Estate Investments and possess exceptional leadership and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial performance and reporting of the Real Estate funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize returns on investments and achieve fund objectives.
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, investor reports, and other financial documentation.
- Collaborate with asset managers, investment teams, and other stakeholders to evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial insights.
- Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for the funds.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CA preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on Real Estate funds or investment management.
- In-depth knowledge of Real Estate markets, investment strategies, and financial analysis.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale Real Estate Investments and complex financial transactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
