Provide high level administrative and financial support to the Team Leader or Manager and the Private Practice Scheme (PPS) members through timely and accurate reporting and payment of funds to participants and the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH).

- Provide support and advice to team members and assist with complex processing tasks as required.

Duties:

  • Assist with the administrative and human resource functions of the team and supervise staff as required.
Assist with the development, streamlining and implementation of processes and procedures associated with

billing practices to ensure a timely and efficient billing service to maximise hospital revenue.

Assist the Team Leader or Manager to generate relevant reports and analyse data and provide advice and

analysis to the Revenue Management Team as required.

Assist the Team Leader or Manager with bank reconciliations and debtor management, and other duties as

required in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.

Details of Appointment

Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

  • Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary: $79,529 - $91,517 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

  • Accounting qualification from a recognised tertiary institution
