AddressOur valued client within the not-for-profit sector, is looking for a Senior Finance Officer to join the team on a temporary basis. Based in Milton and commencing in early July, the role will be for 3 months. Working 38 hours per week, the casual hourly rate will be circa $60 plus super, negotiable based on experience.
Working within a small team, this will be a hands-on role handling the day-to-day finance functions including AR, AP and payroll functions. In addition, you will be responsible for EOM reporting, reconciliations, EOY process and assisting in budget preparation.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Solid experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency using Xero and the ability to easily adapt to new systems and processes.
- Degree qualifications in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
- Knowledge of relevant GST and ATO requirements and regulations.
- Effective time management, organisational skills and ability to work efficiently and effectively to tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively by telephone, email and in person with people at all levels.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
