Senior Finance Oficer

We are currently seeking a motivated finance professional to join our Corporate and Community services team as the Senior Finance Officer. The successful person will have experience and knowledge in the following areas:-

·         Accounting practices and procedures of Local Government.

·         Managing the financial systems and processes for the accounting of all revenue sources including Rates, Grants, Sundry Debtors, Fees and Charges, Infringements, Receipting and Banking.          

·         Maintaining accurate accounting records and producing reports in line with statutory and policy requirements

·         Liaising with other employees on matters associated with financial control and budget management.

·         Contributing to the continual development and improvement of processes and systems.

• Expected start date for role: 25 March 2024
• Expected salary: $90,000 - $96,000 per year
