What will you do?
Day to day as our Senior Financial Accountant has the full ownership of the financial record of NZ entities, ensuring the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and identifying financial opportunities and risks. You’ll also own the cash and cash flow management, capital expenditure approvals, maintain a precise fixed assets register, and ensure timely accounting and tax depreciation. Collaborating with external tax advisers, you’ll handle tax compliance, prepare returns, and support income tax preparation. You’ll lead external audits, contribute to statutory account preparation, and maintain a robust internal control environment. Finally, you’ll engage in budgeting, forecasting, and hedging while championing our health and safety culture.

Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who can transform numbers, and make accounting come to life. You’ll have a passion for navigating the financial landscape. You may come from a FMCG or retail background and be interested in entering the world of coffee. As this is a Senior role, it is important that you have strong technical financial accounting experience and it will be a bonus if you have had experience with NZ tax compliance too.
To others, you are more than a financial expert; you're a finance leader known for balancing the world of numbers and people. Your true forte is in stakeholder management, making it not just an aspect of your role but the very essence of your purpose. On systems, we use E1 however if you’ve had experience in SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics that’s great too.
