With several acquisitions on the horizon, they are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to ensure new acquisitions and existing investments are accurately maintained and managed alongside the wider accounting team.
The Role:
Based in Mt Gambier, and reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for the asset level accounting for a range of investments in the funds, mandates, schemes and trusts which they manage. This is a role which also encompasses a blend of management reporting requirements and audit for both internal and external stakeholders and will allow you to take ownership of your own work and further develop your stakeholder management skills. Your existing skills will shine in this hands-on role, while offering you the chance to develop your career with continuous coaching and mentoring, and clear growth opportunities.
Duties include:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, & annual reporting packages
- Business partnering with operational teams & business managers
- Provide commentary on financial & costing metrics to improve profitability
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the maintenance of a variety of asset registers
- Cash flow management
- Budgeting & forecasting + variance analysis
- Oversee payroll & AP/AR functions & cross check work
- Preparation of statutory & investor fund reporting
- Liaise with a range of internal & external stakeholders
- Assisting with audit & ESG reporting requirements
- Collaborate on systems implementations & integrations
- Ongoing process improvement & Ad hoc operational matters
