Senior Financial Analyst - Finance Transformation

Our client is a large global financial services group with a sizeable and ever growing presence within Australia. To cater for this growth they are currently investing in an exciting long term Finance Transformation program. 

As such they have a newly created Senior Financial Analyst role on offer, reporting to the Head of Finance Transformation. key deliverables will include:

• Contributing to the creation of the Finance Transformation program steering function
• Supporting the business to deliver sustainable productivity benefits across the organisation through data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Partnering with stakeholders across the business to challenge financials related to transformation initiatives to support strategic decision making.
• Key Planning Dialogue deliverables including validation of planning inputs, deep dives to analyse underlying drivers and preparation of impactful presentations to help steer business performance.

This is a permanent position and will offer great exposure to a wide range of influential stakeholders across the group.  

Required skills and experience:

• CA/CPA/CFA qualified 
• Experience in a Financial Analyst or strategy analyst related role - project/program/transformation finance is of particular relevance
• Experience within large complex financial services environment.
• Ability to analyse complex information, identify errors or inconsistencies, extract meaningful insights, and create impactful presentations.
• Ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships.
