Our client is a private-equity backed manufacturing & wholesale business well known to consumers across APAC. The business has experienced rapid growth over the last two years and is looking for a talented senior FP&A analyst to join its ranks and provide operations with financial data driven insights to improve commercial outcomes.
This is a great opportunity for a talented finance business partner to work in a rapidly expanding, complex commercial and reporting environment alongside respected stakeholders. You will assist with and gain exposure to rare commercial projects that will be invaluable experience in the future.
The offices reside in an accessible location just outside the CBD.
The Role
This is a Senior FP&A analyst role which includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Partner with senior operational executives: providing support around key commercial objectives
- Support operations with pricing around commercial contracts and new products
- Process improvement: automate reporting processes and build new reports/dashboards
- Identify and improve internal controls
- Oversee the preparation of board packs and commentary
- Present monthly results and commercial insights to Senior Executives (CFO/COO/CEO)
- Ad-hoc Financial Modelling and Commercial Analysis
- Cash-flow forecasting and reporting
Your Skills and Experience
- CPA or CA qualification + Big-4 experience is highly regarded
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction, or infrastructure environment is highly regarded
- Impeccable communication and presentation skills
- Ability to priortise effectively and deal with sudden change
- Exceptional business analysis skills
- Advanced excel and data analytics skillset
