Using lean start-up principles this newly created team is building an entire digital eco-system that will set the company apart from their competitors. What this role is not:
A standard corporate development role, maintaining & bugging fixing applications working within a stale corporate environment with disengaged colleagues and old technology, a job where you maintain the status quo.
What this role is:
A very busy Senior Development role working with some very good people to deliver ongoing projects that will have a huge impact on the business. You will be developing applications from scratch alongside a handpicked bunch of talented specialist reporting directly into the CEO (meaning the tools and changes you need are given to you very quickly.) You’ll develop very high quality code with the very latest technologies to deliver this project amongst a team that is redefining how this very traditional company operates. You’ll be encouraged to bring your own ideas on what initiates will bring value and what technologies will help you deliver these initiatives. You’ll work with a stack of exciting technologies (Git, Jenkins, Bootstrap. Jira, AWS) with the option to bring in more.
What we’re looking for:
- Prior experience as a Senior Developer within Agile/SCRUM environments
- Experience delivering large digital projects.
- .Net MVC 5
- Angular JS/JQuery
- SQL Server (Using LinqToSql with EF6)
- Git
- AWS
- Very sound coding principles – Dependency Injection, Unit testing, non-repetitive clean code. (DRY)
- An absolute love of coding (I’m not just writing this, you really need to love what you do! We want to see your work online and expect that in your spare time you love tinkering with Open Source technologies.)
- The person we’re after will look, feel and smell like they’re from a Digital Agency – not a traditional corporate.
