The Senior Developer is responsible for the development, management and implementation of all features and improvements related to both the back end and front end of our client’s core products. The prime objective is to provide these services to customers, to assist those customers to maximise the value from their implementation of their products and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- .NET application design and development (particularly C# / ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI), with Collaborate and advise within an agile software development process
- Producing high-quality code for web, desktop and service based applications and frameworks, using the practices of Software Craftsmanship such as TDD, design patterns, code reviews and clean coding
- Producing design, specification and product documentation
- Making a positive and proactive contribution working within a multi-disciplined team while keeping up to date with the latest tools, techniques and best practices.
- Coaching and supporting junior colleagues

Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications:
- Advanced in JavaScript, and Javascript libraries such as Angular, jQuery, REACT, EXTJS, D3JS, and Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, SASS
- Expert Web: ASP.NET + C#
- Advanced SOAP/REST Web services/XML/XSLT
- Database: MSSQL Server 2014+ (Stored Procedures, Database design, etc.)
- Strong understanding of multi-threading / parallel programming
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Web development products, platforms and architecture
- Commercial experience with automated testing (preferably in a TDD environment)
- Experience with Entity Framework or .NET CORE, SQL Server, and continuous delivery and source control systems
- 6+ years’ demonstrated commercial web development experience in a similar position
- A degree in Computer Science or similar
