Senior Fund Accountant

Are you a skilled and motivated Real Estate Fund Accountant with a passion for finance and a keen eye for technical precision? 

Our dynamic client is a known international investment manager with an established presence in Australia, with healthy growth trajectory they are looking to appoint a new member in their nimble finance team. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transaction Expertise: Execute and oversee all aspects of fund transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
2. New Fund Launch: Play a pivotal role in the launch of new funds, from inception to operational readiness, demonstrating a thorough understanding of fund structures and regulatory requirements.
3. Fund Accounting: Perform detailed fund accounting activities, including NAV calculations, financial reporting, and reconciliation, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including investment, compliance, and operations, to facilitate seamless fund operations and address any technical challenges.
5. Compliance Assurance: Stay abreast of regulatory changes impacting fund accounting, ensuring adherence to industry standards and implementing best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, CA, CFA) preferred.
• Proven experience in fund accounting within the asset management industry.
• Strong technical acumen in fund transactions and new fund launches.
• Knowledge of Australian regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
