Our client, a Superannuation Fund Manager, based in the Sydney CBD are looking to recruit a a Senior Financial Accountant to take responsibility for both the Super Investment Funds accounting requirements.
In this role you will be required to act as the primary point of contact for key internal and external stakeholders. Using a breadth of accounting skills you will be required to investigate the integrity of information from the business, deliver timely and accurate financial reports, and offer technical accounting advice to your stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include:
- End to end responsibility for all general ledger maintenance and financial, management, and statutory reporting.
- Maintain corporate Tax obligations including BAS & IAS
- APRA Reporting for the Super Fund
- Liaise with and manage relationships with Auditors.
- Assist with new product development, as directed by the CFO, Investment team, Finance and Operations
- Provides information, reports and conduct analysis for the investment group
- Insure that monthly reconciliation processes are completed and distribution income is received
- Liaise with and manage relationships with Auditors.
Candidates of interest will be able to demonstrate previous experience within an Investment, Superannuation or custody business where they have performed financial reporting, distribution calculations, tax, unit pricing, and regulatory reporting.
Experience working with Super Funds will be held in high regard. A CA or CPA qualification is preferred, along with a relevant degree in either Commerce or Accounting.
