An active asset manager and developer, this business focuses on finding under-utilised properties and extracting maximum value from them over the long term. As a multi-billion dollar fund manager they continuously look for new opportunities to add to the portfolio and operate in a high performance culture which includes hiring top talent in the market.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will focus on management of the fund accounting area, key duties include:
- Management of the relationship with outsourced providers and review of their work
- Monthly management reporting for the funds and analysis
- Presentation of results to asset/fund managers
- Journals and reconciliations
- Half and year end financial statements
- BAS/GST returns
- Coordination of the audit
- Distribution calculations
- Cashflow management
- System integration and improvement projects
You must be CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 3+ years' experience in financial and fund accounting within a property fund manager. Someone who is smart, motivated, keen to advance in their career, a confident communicator, and able to see the bigger picture will find this to be a great opportunity.
