Our client, a leading geotechnical and environmental consulting company operating across NSW, are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their team. As a full-service consultancy, they specialize in providing environmental and geotechnical, holistic solutions for a diverse range of projects, from minor alterations to large-scale government infrastructure developments.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and meticulously review geotechnical reports, alongside occasional environmental assessments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Efficiently coordinate fieldwork, laboratory testing, and other site investigations to support project requirements.
- Manage client relationships and oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Utilize advanced software tools such as SeepW, SlopeW, and PLAXIS for geotechnical modeling and analysis.
- Mentor and train junior staff, fostering their professional development within the team.
- Conduct occasional fieldwork as necessary, demonstrating hands-on expertise in Geotechnical Engineering practices.
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Preferably chartered, but must hold NSW Fair Trading registration.
- Demonstrated experience in a wide range of geotechnical projects, showcasing versatility and adaptability.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
