This Senior Group Accountant role will work in a finance function of eight people and report to a CFO.
The Role
This is a financial accounting and group reporting focused role. As the Senior Group Accountant, you will report to the CFO and take on a challenging role that includes:
Financial month-end reporting duties for the group across all states of Australia
Board reporting
Prepare Year-end and group consolidated financial reports
Preparation of the FBT, GST and BAS
Maintain the Fixed asset register
Job Costing
Supervision and review of the AP, AR and payroll functions
Your Background
To be considered for this Senior Group Accountant position you will ideally meet the majority of the following criteria:
Professionally qualified as an Accountant (e.g. CPA, CA or equivalent)
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Financial Accountant wanting to step up, or already be at the Senior Accountant level wanting a fresh challenge
Group financial accounting experience
Experience working in a medium to large business
Previous experience in the construction industry or using jobpac is highly advantageous
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
