Position Profile: The Child and Adolescent Health Service are seeking an experienced and dynamic analyst to join our team at Perth Children's Hospital.

The successful candidate will undertake complex analysis and interpretation of health data to inform the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic initiatives and service planning to meet the needs of Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS).

Reporting to the Manager Health Planning Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to overall performance of the CAHS Strategy and Planning program of work through the provision of advice and expertise within assigned portfolios.
  • Undertaking complex analysis and interpretation of health data to drive decision making relating to key service planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Leading and contributing to the development of appropriate service planning outputs for the purpose of reporting, forecasting and scenario modelling to aid decision making.
  • Building alliances with key internal and external stakeholders including clinicians and other health service providers.

The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is proud to be the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia, as the State’s only dedicated health service for infants, children and young people. CAHS is made up four service areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH). Consisting of over 6,500 employees, our services are delivered at PCH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), as well as across a network of more than 160 community clinics across the metropolitan area.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
