New role for an experienced Occupational Therapist/Senior Occupational Therapist to join this regional health service. The location is based two hours from Canberra and four hours from Sydney.You will supervise a small team of Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants. Enjoy working across a varied caseload, building specialist clinical skills, leading the team to meet organisational targets and patients’ health needs and being a senior member of a large Allied health team (22 staff).In this role, you will:
- Cover a caseload ideally across rehabilitation, geriatrics or paediatrics
- Provide clinical leadership to the OT team and AHA's; collaborate with a large (22 staff) vibrant Allied Health team
- Supervise OT (2 OT staff members) and AHA staff; supervise students; monitor team performance; lead OT quality projects. Supportive district network
- As senior clinician, the service can facilitate specialisation in interest areas that align with the services including hands / home mods / paediatrics/ lymphoedema / rehabilitation
- Regular professional development and supervision supported

- The OT department provides care to subacute inpatients (rehabilitation / geriatric / palliative care), community outpatients, outpatient rehabilitation, paediatrics (community and school based) and hands clinic
- Salary range $108,595 - $112,114 + superannuation
