As one of our HR Business Partners, you will partner closely with key Leaders, as well as the wider team to understand business needs and objectives and develop HR strategies and programs to enable our growth and continued excellent performance. About you:
With your significant experience as a generalist HR professional, you will be used to working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Your flexibility and resolve will be second to none and your related discipline and Defence Industry experience.
The majority of the stakeholders are based at our Mawson Lakes office, so you will need to be based there 3 days a week, with some work at our city office as required. This is to facilitate the working relationships required to be successful in this role.communication skills will be outstanding; being able to liaise across all levels of a business. To be successful in this role you will also have:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, working across multiple disciplines including talent acquisition, talent development, compensation, performance management, retention, analytics, work health safety, diversity and respective employment legislation
  • Extensive experience with demonstrated results in developing and implementing HR solutions to complex client group strategy and objectives
  • Significant knowledge and application of relevant legislative provisions, regulations, and Acts including Fair Work Act (FWA), Work Health & Safety Act, Long Service Leave Act, etc.
  • Extensive understanding and experience applying business principles and practices, which achieve organisational goals
  • Significant experience providing effective guidance, mentoring and training to other employees
  • Computer literacy with an ability to produce, analyse, and interpret complex reports and management information.
  • Ability to review multiple data sources and turn this data into the information needed to inform and drive decisions in the business.
  • Ability to work as a part of a Senior Leadership team, to proactively assist the delivery of organisational and program goals

Your responsibilities will include:
The HR Business Partner primarily responsibilities:
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice and guidance on Business HR services activities across the business
  • Build and sustain professional, collaborative relationships with management and employees
  • Lead the development and delivery of effective best practice HRBP services and programs
  • Work in partnership with leadership to coordinate and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Develop effective recommendations and solutions (including alternatives) in relation to people management issues
  • Partner with Centres of Expertise (COE's) to ensure that enterprise strategies and processes are optimised and delivered
