Due to company growth; NRW are currently seeking an experiencedSenior HSE Advisor (Corporate) to join us in ourPerth office located in Belmont. This position is permanentfull-time with a competitive salary and great employeebenefits.
You will be reporting directly to the Health and SafetyManager with your responsibilities including:
- Assist in the development, maintenance and implementation of the OH&S management systems
- Inspect, monitor and evaluate HSE reporting systems, strategies, processes and programs for effectiveness whilst promoting and supporting continuous improvement
- Support the business on HSE issues including the implementation and the monitoring of NRW HSE programs and initiatives
- Regular travel to support site operations and initiatives, conduct incident investigations and complete internal audits
- Engage and contribute to team discussions, developing and presenting innovative ideas and solutions
- Advise on relevant WHS legislation and review legislative requirements
To be considered for the position as Senior HSE Advisoryou must possess the following as a minimum:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Civil and/or Mining sectors
- Tertiary Qualification in OHS/WHS
- Ability to conduct CRAW reviews succinctly and effectively (with both internal and external stakeholders)
- Confidence to present information to others, and engage in positive field leadership interactions
- Working knowledge of ISO45001 OH&S Management Systems
- Clear communicator
- Have strong computer skills including the use of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Current Driver’s Licence
