Senior Hsw Advisor Ao6 (Part-Time)

Troocoo are working with a valued Queensland Government agency to recruit a Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor (AO6) on a permanent basis. This isn’t your typical HSW role – this is an exciting career opportunity to make a last impact on a large workforce!The need to knows about the role:

• Part-time permanent position (3 days per week)
• $114K - $122K + 12.75% super (pro-rata)
• Stunning offices within the Brisbane City.

What will I be doing?
At the heart of this Government organisation, it’s about the people. You will be developing HSW policy plans and equipping key stakeholders with the tools on ensuring a safety and healthy workplace. This role will have oversight of workforce psychosocial hazards and management.

• Design and Development: Create and maintain contemporary WHS processes and policies that support injury prevention, risk management, and recovery.
• Implementation and Monitoring: Implement and monitor the WHS Management Plan and health and well-being programs to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Legislative Compliance: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant WHS legislative requirements and ensure organisational adherence.
• Program Development: Develop, implement, and oversee the health and well-being programs including psychosocial and giving programs.
• Leadership Support: Provide specialist advice, support, and capability development to the leadership team on strategic and operational WHS issues.
• Expert Advice: Offer expert guidance and support to leaders, employees, and contractors on all aspects of health, safety, and well-being.

About your experience:

• Previous WHS experience supporting large contact centre or service delivery workforces is essential
• Experience in managing psychosocial risks and hazards
• Strong writing and ability to detailed HSW plans and recommendations
• A deep understanding of wellbeing and ability to influence key stakeholder in the business
• Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholder groups across the organisation

No two days will be the same in this blended and varied HSW role.
