Job description

HEO 8 $106,561 - $119,550 per annum plus employer contribution of 17% superannuation.

Full time continuing position.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be a trusted partner building effective networks within your portfolio to deliver focused HR solutions that meet current and future business needs. You will leverage your specialist and generalist expertise, coach people leaders to effectively lead their staff and provide advice and support on employee relations, case management and major industrial change processes. 

By joining us, you will be a part of a broader Division of University Operations serving a customer base of 8000 staff across all sites and collaborate with a team who love what they do and have fun doing it!

We operate a hybrid work environment which will give you the opportunity to build relationships on-site as well as the flexibility to work from home one day each week.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated commitment to service excellence and delivering effective stakeholder-centric HR service
  • Hold highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills to liaise, consult, negotiate and influence a wide range of people at all levels within a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contemporary HR practice, including legislation and industrial instruments.
  • Proven experience providing timely and expert HR policy advice to staff and managers, including interpretation of Enterprise Agreements, change activity and HR policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience providing high quality advice and guidance to managers on complex and sensitive people management matters.
