Eligibility: Open to EveryoneWe have an opportunity for a Senior ICT Service Desk Analyst to be part of our Corporate Services Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.The Senior ICT Service Desk Analyst is primarily responsible for providing desktop support, analysis and resolution of business system issues and configurations to all PIRSA and supported Agencies staff.The role will be responsible for issue logging, troubleshooting, and customer service for internal ICT requests. The Senior ICT Service Desk analyst provides first and second level of support to staff and contributes to the effective operation of all ICT services within PIRSA.This role provides technical guidance to the ICT Service Desk Analyst whenever required and is responsible for maintaining an up to date CMDB and accurate knowledge base items, both internal and external facing. The Senior ICT Service Desk Analyst will ensure the delivery of excellent customer service, which is proactive, cooperative, and dependable by analysing user needs and developing rapport with the client base for the purpose of improving customer satisfaction.About UsSouth Australia is internationally recognised for the quality of its agriculture, food, and wine.   • Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.
  • Australian residency or current works permit is required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current work permit).
  • Desirable: ITIL Foundation v3/v4 and Microsoft M365 certifications.
Requirements
  • Possession of a current driver’s license and willingness to drive.
  • The position is rostered between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
  • Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be required.
  • You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations.
  • The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required by government agencies.
