The role
Working within our Strategic Planning unit, you will
- Ensure key strategic infrastructure has been planned to support the City’s urban growth and major development areas
- Manage the preparation, costing, administration and implementation of Development Contribution Schemes, including Development Contribution Plans and similar infrastructure agreements
- Manage a range of projects including engaging with consultants, preparing project briefs and reviewing reports to support the planning and delivery of key strategic infrastructure projects
- Provide specialist advice and support on infrastructure and engineering matters
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be a qualified engineer with experience in the planning, design and delivery of infrastructure projects
- Experience in the project management of infrastructure related projects, including strategies, plans, policies and procedures
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, ministerial guidelines and practice notes in relation to urban growth, subdivision and infrastructure planning, design and delivery.
- Excellent written, communication and engagement skills
- Enjoy working in a team environment
A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
