Salary:
$105,479 - $127,621 + superWorking arrangements: Hybrid, Carlton location
Talent Street is on the lookout for a Senior Systems and Infrastructure Engineer, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be accountable for the configuration, tuning and operation of enterprise management tools to better enable the functionality of the corporate infrastructure. In addition, this position will focus on delivering infrastructure projects, monitoring and prevention capabilities for both physical and virtual infrastructures as well as perform network related troubleshooting and management of ICT infrastructure.
Duties:
- Administration, monitoring, maintenance, support, advice, and knowledge for the provisioning of various technologies.
- Contribute to planning, preparation, implementation, and project management of complex technical activities using ITIL 4 framework.
- Undertake technical investigations to resolve complex and specialised technical issues.
- Initiate and undertake technical implementation of complex and specialised projects or initiatives.
- Resolve, collaborate on and escalate issues as appropriate to IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security Specialist and provide appropriate and timely information and updates to stakeholders regarding progress.
- Contribute to policy development and implementation of continuously evolving cyber security roadmaps, including threat prevention, business continuity, and disaster recovery Systems and processes that are documented, tested, and maintained.
- Provide technical coaching and mentoring to members of the Service Desk.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Solid technical knowledge, experience and understanding of technical concepts, principles, and practices. Broad knowledge of technical concepts with a focus on infrastructure administration with emphasis on security.
- Strong hands-on experience and advanced knowledge with Microsoft servers, storage, and application environments on premises and in the cloud, data loss prevention, and related enterprise security management tools.
- General capability and conceptual knowledge of cybersecurity standards, risks, mitigations and remediations and their practical application to achieve risk-managed ICT.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing and applying effective cybersecurity standards, processes, technology, and solutions. Demonstrated ability to work flexibly, both proactively and reactively, to address security challenges and issues.
- Highly developed investigative and problem-solving skills to identify and manage issues and risks.
- Experience with management of security in Unix/Linux and networking Infrastructure
