Senior Installations Technician required with leading security company

Your new role
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
• Installation of new security systems and conversion of existing security systems.
• Installation and setup of CCTV Systems (including remote access).
• Finding faults, maintaining, repairing, and testing Security Systems including CCTV and Access Control.
• Project management of larger security installation projects
• Provide on call support for clients as rostered and/or emergency requirements.
• Client and/or trade representative liaison to co-ordinate works when applicable.
• Completion of documentation on relevant software applications used by the Company to support project delivery.
• Provide comprehensive notes for completed work on relevant software application, communicating work in progress details for scheduling purposes.
• Supply client information to all Departments as required.
• Purchasing of stock and consumables when required and maintain van stock levels.
• Cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles; report servicing and maintenance requirements to direct manager.
• Router configuration for remote access of CCTV systems (Remote via EXTMONs)
• Remote client support for camera systems (cameras offline)
• Remote management of CCTV systems and logs
• Remote maintenance of wireless links in security and CCTV systems
• Network & Infrastructure design and construction for new CCTV systems
• Manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Training of less experienced staff as required.
• Other duties as directed by management or representative.
What you'll need to succeed
• Hold and maintain a current Security Licence
• Hold and maintain a current Driver’s Licence.
• Completion of a qualification relevant to the role (such as a security cabling license).
• At least three (3) years in an installations or scheduling position in the security industry or a business with similar characteristics to the security industry.
• Ideally, experience in a programming or system support role.
• Proven experience with project management software.
• Knowledge of a range of security systems including Tecom, Concept, DAS/NX Series Panels, Bosch Solution panels, CCTV, Access & Prox readers would be highly regarded.
• Proven experience with Patriot alarm response software or similar would be highly regarded.
• Proven customer and relationship management experience.
• An acceptable level of financial competency.
• Experience with business planning and working to KPI targets.
• Competent to advanced computer skills (including Microsoft Office 365 products – Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
