A large-scale, globally renowned architecture practice is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join their talented team in their Perth studio. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for managing several projects in the commercial sector concurrently through all phases whilst being supported by a team of junior designers and technicians. This practice normally “grows their own” through the ranks, so this is a rare opportunity to join a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring high-end design solutions for commercial workplace projects from space-planning and concept design through to completion.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, varying in scale and stages.
- Contribute to output in Revit and InDesign
- Coordinate with consultants and trades on-site.
- Analytical in approach when evaluating progress or obstacles as well as providing solutions to stay on schedule.
- Mentor and guide junior staff.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary Qualifications in Interior Design
- 10+ years of experience working on interior projects of significant scale, ideally the majority workplace & commercial.
- Proven experience leading a team of junior staff.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
