The Corporate & Performance, HR and IR Business Partners team at the is currently seeking a talented individual to join us in the role of Senior Investigations Partner. This is a full-time temporary position until June 30, 2026.
This role will be the principal lead for the implementation and embedding of an investigations framework at the People Branch level that cascades down from the recently implemented Regional NSW investigations framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Senior Investigations Partner, you will be responsible for:
  • Framework Implementation: Lead planning and project management activities to implement an investigation process to support the achievement of team objectives and continuous business improvement. Develop and implement frameworks that monitor the performance of all investigative strategies and operations, evaluate their effectiveness (concerning outcomes, efficiencies, and risks) and identify, recommend and pursue improvement opportunities.
  • Technology Integration: Embed and support the Protecht case management module while leveraging technology to streamline and enhance investigative processes.
  • Guidance Development: Use your expertise to create clear guidance, tools, and documents that ensure we follow the policies, regulations etc efficiently in our people team investigations.
  • Methodology Application: Offer guidance on investigative methodology to team members, maintaining and continually enhancing methodologies to align with industry best practices.
  • Strategic Advice: Deliver timely, expert advice to executives on critical investigation issues, enabling informed decision-making through insightful recommendations.
  • Collaborative Relationship Building: Foster and sustain collaborative relationships both internally and externally, ensuring cooperative efforts for the success of effective people strategies and programs.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Promote knowledge-sharing within a multi-disciplinary team and facilitate cross-learning and mentorship to enhance technical expertise and best practices.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualities:
  • Demonstrated experience in the investigations arena either through a HR lens or through the workplace investigations industry
  • A demonstrated ability to conduct thorough investigations with attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, ensuring efficient compliance.
  • Capability to develop and implement frameworks for effective monitoring.
  • Expertise in providing guidance on investigative methodologies.
  • Competence in embedding case management modules and leveraging technology.
  • Ability to provide timely, expert advice to executives on critical issues.
  • Skill in building and maintaining collaborative relationships internally and externally.
  • Commitment to sharing knowledge within a multi-disciplinary team.
