About the role
Perpetual is a global multi-boutique asset management firm, managing in excess of A$200bn across Equity, Credit and Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset strategies. Sitting within the Investment Risk team, this role is accountable for leading change and developing best practice approach to Investment Risk within Perpetual.

Working within the Investment Analytics & Risk team, you will:
Management and ongoing enhancements to all facets of Investment Risk monitoring and reporting, and development of Investment Risk insights
Implementing and maintaining a healthy "challenge and support" model of Investment Risk Management and its policies and frameworks.
Working with Investment Management teams to deliver strong Investment Risk culture
Providing lead on security modelling and analytical risk management
Work with stakeholders and service providers to deliver on key projects supporting Investment Risk uplift
Your experience could include
Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics or related field
Post Graduate qualifications (Dip / Master / CFA / FRM etc.) preferred
At least 8 years' financial services experiences, with at least 2 years leading or as a senior member of an Investment Risk function that directly interacts with Investment Teams
Candidates with experience in Equity, Fixed Income and Multi Asset highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders, including Investment Teams, Operational teams, and Senior Management
Change management experience, including initiatives, and working with project teams to deliver key outcomes for Investment Risk teams highly desirable
Experience coaching / mentoring junior team members
