Are you a seasoned dental professional with a passion for education and a commitment to shaping the next generation of dentists? La Trobe in partnership with Sunraysia Community Health Services are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Lecturer in Dentistry/oral health with a strong focus on teaching!
Play a crucial role in overseeing the clinical training and supervision of dental and oral health therapy students, fostering excellence in clinical education and patient safety, ultimately leading to positive patient and student outcomes.
You will be involved in instructing and guiding students placed at Sunraysia Community Health Services and shaping the professional growth of dental and oral health students, ultimately producing self-assured and skilled graduates upon completing their program.
You will mentor and guide students through their academic journey, providing valuable insights and practical knowledge. Key collaborations with colleagues, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in dental education will see you succeed in this role.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and clinical teaching experience, particularly in the community/ public sector.
- A demonstrated understanding of the Victorian dental public health system
- Demonstrated ability to engage with the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, evidence-based practice and environmental safety.
