The Role

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Senior Legal Assistant to become an integral part of the Corporate Practice Group in Sydney. This role involves providing crucial support to accomplished partners and a team of legal professionals. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organised administrative professional.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Facilitating communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Efficiently managing files
  • Coordinating partners' calendars
  • Handling billing, time coding, and reporting
  • Conducting company, property, and title searches
  • Organising travel arrangements, including flights and accommodations
  • Assisting in the coordination of events and business development activities
The CandidateThe successful candidate will possess:
  • MINIMUM 5 years experience in Corporate (preferrably including experience in M&A)
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proactive nature, capable of working independently with limited supervision
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Experience with CMS/Aderant or other finance-related software
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
