This opportunity is for a skilled Commercial and Corporate Lawyer, confident in providing a wide range of legal advice on relevant obligations and risks for this Not-for-Profit entity. Your responsibilities include:
- Provide proactive advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial areas;
- Advise senior leadership and executives strategic business initiatives;
- Collaborate with internal clients & stakeholders in identifying, understanding, and managing legal risks and issues; and
- Work closely with the General Counsel on significant legal issues.
- Admitted as a Solicitor in QLD;
- In-house experience preferred;
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively;
- Aged care / retirement village legal experience will be highly regarded;
- Ability to confidently present messages in a clear, concise and articulate manner;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate persuasively with stakeholders and advise clients and senior management on procurement planning, sourcing and contract management strategies; and
- Motivated, pro-active and self-managing.
