The Opportunity
Due to continued client demand (and having recently appointed several ex General Counsel's), the firm are now looking to hire 2-3 Commercial Lawyers to their dedicated in house service team.
The roles can be based in either Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. Due to the nature of how the firm operates, there is a high degree of flexibility and agility around your working week.
In this role you will work closely under the supervision of a very skilled General Counsel, providing a small portfolio of clients dedicated, commercial legal advice.
The big pull for this opportunity is it will feel like an in-house role, without the commitment (or anxiety) of making the full leap across. In a sense, you will get the best of both worlds - and all the while receiving incredible mentoring from well regarded and experienced General Counsels.
Whats Required
Candidates will ideally have at least 2-3 years+ PAE, with priority being given to candidates with experience in technology, intellectual property and general commercial law. The firm are very proactive with attracting clients in relation to the Cybersecurity space, as well as Energy/Resources and Infrastructure, so applications from candidates with experience in any of these areas would also be given high priority.
