As our Senior Logistics Manager you will be responsible for delivering the Logistics Acceleration Workstream as part of the ANZ Integrated Supply Chain project (Project Horizon).
This role sits within the Australian Supply Chain Team and is responsible for delivering the Logistics Acceleration Workstream as part of the ANZ Integrated Supply Chain project (Project Horizon)
In addition to local stakeholders, you’ll work closely with a number of global functions, primarily Global Supply Chain, Global Engineering and Global DT.
What is the Integrated Supply Chain Transformation Program?
The program will create a more agile, efficient and resilient digital ecosystem with demand, plans, supply chains, factories, equipment and most importantly, our Associates, connected in real time.
This program (Project Horizon) will revolutionise Mars Pet Nutrition ANZ’s supply chain, unlocking value and efficiencies through aligned and optimised digital solutions.
What would be your key responsibilities?

• Engage, influence and inspire a wide variety of partners (internal and external) and stakeholders to drive Logistics Acceleration transformation for ANZ Supply.
• Ensure the design (people, process and technology aspects ) of the LA (Logistics Acceleration) workstream is robust and fit for purpose.
• Accountable to deliver the LA projects outputs (combination of feasibility studies & execution - depending on specific project requirement)
• Accountable for developing a comprehensive plan for LA feasibility deployment.
• Owner of the LA deployment program plan and the execution of it to assure the program meets agreed commitments.
• Ensure the proper deployment governance for the LA program is agreed, aligned and executed - this needs to build strong cross divisional ( Supply Chain/Supply, Commercial, S&F, and Digital Technology ) and cross business ( Mars (local & global), contractors, 3PL & 4PL, consultant groups ) alignment.
• Management of overall LA deployment progress, status reporting and stakeholder expectations. Facilitate the governance meetings, escalates roadblocks within the program to senior stakeholders and holds the program to the plan.
• Ensure the LA program is resourced properly and raises any gaps as appropriate.
• Ensure smooth transition in terms of performance levels between deployment and "business as usual" operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor Level degree qualification, ideally in Logistics or Supply Chain
• 10+years’ experience in Logistics or Supply Chain (FMCG Preferable)
• 5+ years of line management experience – ideally within a global or remote management context.
• An experienced people influencer with strong collaboration skills, proven effectiveness in a matrixed environment, with multi-cultural and remote peers/ project teams
• Multi-national corporate experience working across different time zones and geographies
• Experience in leading and implementing new programs and initiatives
• Proactive, self-starter who has excellent project management skills
• Digitally savvy with experience of either managing supply chain operations with a significant digital reliance or leading deployment of transformation programmes with a significant digital component.
